Risk Assessment
Identifying The Risks:
During filming we had a few concerns with the risks that the actors could come across. These risks include: The use of a sharp knife in various scenes, using a motorbike in one scene and taking care when using the camera so we didn't damage it.
Who Could Be Harmed And How To Prevent Injury:
Hannah who plays Sue had to use the knife to chop up the potatoes and also she had to run the blade against the skin on her wrist. This was a risk we had to manage carefully when filming to make sure she didn't injure herself with the knife.
Alex who plays Mazy had to ride a motorbike in one scene which was a risk as falling off the motorbike could seriously injure her. This was a risk we had to watch when filming to make sure she didn't fall off the motorbike, we managed this by teaching her how to get on and off safely and also how to hold on so she didn't fall off when the motorbike was in motion.
When we were using the camera we had to make sure we set it up safely away from and hazzards. We managed this risk by keeping the camera on the tripod for the majority of filming and when we couldn't do this due to small spaces we put it on a stable flat surface.
